Arielle is an Asian American Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has over 35 years of experience. She specializes in treating primarily adults and provides services to a whole range of psychiatric illnesses and emotional challenges. Her specialty includes, but is not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar I and II, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, Adjustment Disorder and Psychoses. She is a recipient of fellowship and scholarships from National Institute of Mental Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Emma Jones Foundation. She has lectured internationally on Psychopharmacology and Individual and Group Psychotherapy. She also has a degree in Psychology which enables her with an additional avenue to promote healing from trauma, self-esteem, and improve grief and loss, relationship difficulties, aging, life change adjustment and more. She employs various psychotherapy modalities including CBT, Mind-Body Medicine, Guided Meditation, Music Therapy, Humanistic and Existential Psychotherapy. Her psychotherapy focuses on empowering individual strength to overcome inevitable life’s challenges and promote personal strength. She strongly believes in the importance of finding purpose and meaning in life and all of us have innate resources to cultivate them. She believes in reframing our view of life to learn from present and past challenges which make us stronger and transform us into at our best with utmost contentment. She believes in collaborative treatment approaches between a provider and a client by inviting active participation from clients. In her off time she enjoys reading, traveling, swimming, Opera, Broadway, Museums and Japanese Gardens.
