Leah Dymock is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for patients of all ages. She has a special heart for working with children and adolescents, helping young people and their families feel supported, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey.
Before becoming a PMHNP, Leah spent 15 years as a Registered Nurse, including seven years in oncology nursing. Her experience includes working as both a bedside nurse and a hospital supervisor, giving her a deep understanding of patient care, family support, and the challenges people face during difficult seasons of life. She has also taught community health classes on topics such as CPR, first aid, stress management, and other important healthcare subjects.
Leah’s background gives her a strong foundation in caring for the whole person — not just symptoms. She combines thoughtful medication management with insight-oriented therapy, health education, and holistic support to help patients move toward greater balance and well-being.
Leah is also passionate about integrative approaches to mental health care, including the use of music, art, and animal-assisted therapy when appropriate. She believes healing often happens best in a warm, collaborative environment where patients feel safe, valued, and truly heard.
In addition to her clinical practice, Leah is a university professor, where she teaches nursing students and helps prepare future nurses to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
Leah is married, has three children, and a house full of pets.
Leah sees patients in-person at our Canby office and via telehealth for patients in Oregon.
