Cora Guren is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in evaluating, treating, and managing mental health concerns in children and adults. She believes in the importance of holistic approaches, including exercise, mindfulness, psychotherapy, and medication. She will partner with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to best support your individual needs. Her practice style is informed by cognitive therapeutic and humanistic approaches and an interest in Nonviolent Communication.

Before joining ValueCore, Cora has been a registered nurse for 17 years and has worked in various settings across the lifespan, including residential psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents and inpatient geriatric psychiatry. Cora’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Gonzaga University, where she was inducted into the Jesuit Honor Society, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Linfield University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton College.

In her free time, Cora enjoys dancing, reading, cooking, kayaking, and, most of all, spending time with her family in the beautiful forests of the Northwest. Cora looks forward to supporting you along the path to your wellness goals.
